about us
The company directors have over 50 years combined experience in the engineering industry. using this knowledge and experience they decided to fulfil their joint ambition, when the opportunity to arose to start their own precision engineering company in shepton mallet, somerset in December 2010.
both directors were previously employed for many years by another local precision engineering company. as employees they were aware that customer satisfaction is paramount to a company's success and now continuously seek to improve in all company areas to ensure customer needs are met. this goal has aided the companys success from the beginning, proven by our customer base continuing to expand and now including individual, local, national and international customers.

wE ENSURE ANY WORK SUB-CONTRACTED EXTERNALLY IS CAREFULLY CONTROLLED, FULLY TRACEABLE AND MEETS OUR COMPANYS STANDARDS. oUR MATERIAL SUPPLIERS ARE ALSO REGULARLY MONITORED ON THE QUALITY, COST, DELIVERY TIMES, AND ARE FULLY TRACEABLE WITH a CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY, IF REQUIRED.
these materials include but are not limited to: high grade stainless steel, aluminium, cast iron, brass, bronze, steel, plastic, tufnell and exotic specialist materials.
external additional services available include heat treatment and specialised finishing's e.g. chemical black, surface hardening, nitride hardening and anodising.

February 2021: Marsh -Man Precision Engineering has now been trading for more than 10 years, thank you to all our customers for their continued support, especially during COVID-19.
February 2020: Marsh -Man Precision Engineering has now been trading for over 9 years, we would like to thank all our customers for their continued support.
October 2017: To upgrade and improve our workshop machine accuracy, we have purchased a XYZ 750 LR, this will increase our productivity and reduce machine workshop time.
July 2014: We now offer the complete precision engineering package of both milled and turned precision engineered components, as our new Haas CNC Lathe has been installed in our workshop; we are pleased to offer this new service to our customers, both existing and new. Please phone, email or visit us in person if you would like further information.
June 2014: We are currently in the process of purchasing a Haas CNC Lathe, this is to offer an additional new service to our customers of turned precision engineering components.
MArCH 2014, The NEC Birmingham: On the 8th April, we went to MACH 2014, to investigate possible, future investment in new machinery. 'MACH is the showcase for advances in the manufacturing industry held by The Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA), the UK based trade association specifically for engineering based manufacturing. A biannual exhibition bringing together all the best innovations and latest developments from manufacturing technologies sectors. December 2013: Just celebrated our third anniversary of trading.
August 2013: From 31st July 2013, our company will now be trading as: Marsh-Man Precision Engineering Limited
May 2013:
We have just completed and delivered our invoice number 450, this includes sub- contracted work for the oil and gas industries in North America. We would again like to thank all our customers for their valued support.
april 2012: We have also taken ownership of a new 'XYZ' Proto Trak Turret Milling Machine.
September 2011: We are proud to have been asked to sponsor the local Shepton United Under 16s, football team kit. It must have given them luck as they won their first game 13 - 1! We have also just taken ownership of a 'XYZ' Bed Milling Machine. This is part of our long term aim as a company, to further improve our production accuracy, finish and the overall quality of workmanship produced.
August 2011:
We have just completed and delivered our invoice number 101, this includes our first international order to the United States of America and we would like to thank all our customers for their continued support.
July 2011: Expanding our range of services, is an area we are seeking to improve and by recently increasing our range of engineering machinery, we are now able to offer a new service to our customers - Surface Grinding. We are now a member of The Federation of Small Businesses.
